Application of cyclone dust collector in fertilizer manufacturing process

2019/08/07
We know that there will be dust in the fertilizer manufacturing process. In the organic fertilizer manufacturing process, most of it uses organic waste and perishable substances. Therefore, odor is generated when the raw material is stored and the storage site is unloaded. In addition, there are platforms for raw materials, excipients, composting sites, and fermentation facilities for trucks. It produces dust and unpleasant gases. Auxiliary materials such as rice husks and sawdust do not produce unpleasant gases, but they generate a large amount of dust when they are removed. In the NPK fertilizer production, because the solid raw material of the NPK compound fertilizer is brittle and the water content is low, it tends to be pulverized uneven solid. When the raw material is transported to the equipment, it is an open-air gravity conveying and lacks effective sealing measures. This will cause the dust concentration in the air at the production site to be too high.

So how do you solve these dust removal problems? We recommend the cyclone dust collector produced by our company.

Cyclone dust collectors are a type of dust removal device in the fertilizer manufacturing process. The dust removal mechanism is to make the dust-containing airflow rotate, and the dust particles are separated from the airflow by the centrifugal force and trapped on the wall, and then the dust particles fall into the ash bucket by gravity. Each component of the cyclone has a certain size ratio, and the change of each proportional relationship can affect the efficiency and pressure loss of the cyclone. The diameter of the precipitator, the size of the inlet and the diameter of the exhaust pipe are the main influencing factors. When using it, it should be noted that when a certain limit is exceeded, favorable factors can also be converted into unfavorable factors. In addition, some factors are beneficial to improve the efficiency of dust removal, but it will increase the pressure loss, so the adjustment of various factors must be taken into consideration.

The cyclone is composed of an intake pipe, an exhaust pipe, a cylinder, a cone and a ash bucket. Cyclone dust collectors are simple in construction, easy to manufacture, install and maintain, and have low equipment investment and operating costs. They have been widely used to separate solid and liquid particles from gas streams or to separate solid particles from liquids.

The working principle of the cyclone dust collector is introduced from the inlet into the outer casing of the precipitator and the exhaust pipe to form a rotating downward external swirling flow. The dust suspended in the external swirling flow moves to the wall under the action of centrifugal force, and goes to the lower part of the dust remover with the external swirling flow, and is discharged by the dust discharging hole. The purified gas forms an ascending internal swirl and is discharged through the exhaust pipe.
Application range and characteristics: Cyclone dust collector is suitable for purifying non-sticky and non-fiber dry dust of more than 5~10 microns. It is a purification device with simple structure, convenient operation, high temperature resistance, low equipment cost and low resistance (80~160 mm water column). The cyclone dust collector is widely used in purification equipment.
