Operating precautions for straw crushers

2025/06/21

The following are the operation precautions of the straw crushers:

1. Protective equipment: Operators are required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety helmets, protective glasses, earplugs, protective suits and anti-slip shoes.

2. Equipment inspection: Before use, check whether all components of the organic fertilizer equipment are tightened, whether the tightness of the transmission belt is appropriate, and whether the motor shaft is parallel to the shaft of the crusher.

3. Safety during operation: It is strictly forbidden for people to approach the rotating parts during operation. No one is allowed on or behind the machinery.

4. Cleaning and Maintenance: When inspecting or clearing debris from the machinery, the tractor must be turned off, the machinery placed on the ground and stabilized.

5. Pre-startup inspection: Manually check the transmission components, including the tightness of the belt and the flexibility of operation, etc. After startup, let it idle for about 3 minutes to confirm that there are no abnormalities before starting work.

6. Uniform feeding: Convey the straw at a constant speed and evenly to avoid excessive feeding causing blockage or excessively high temperature. If there is any abnormal noise or vibration during operation, the machine should be stopped immediately for inspection. Work can only resume after the fault has been eliminated.

7. Material handling: Carefully inspect the materials before work to prevent hard objects such as metals and stones from entering the crushing chamber and causing accidents. It is strictly prohibited to use the crusher beyond its load capacity to avoid motor overheating, accelerated blade wear or mechanical failure.

8. Shutdown and maintenance: Before shutting down, stop feeding first. Wait until all the materials inside the machine are completely discharged before cutting off the power and stopping the machine. Regular maintenance and care of the crusher should be carried out, including cleaning, lubrication, tightening and replacement of worn parts, etc. When the machine is out of service for a long time, the conveyor belt should be removed and it should be parked in a shaded and rain-protected area, away from flammable items.
