What are the raw materials for NPK blending?

2025/11/14

The production of NPK blended fertilizer relies on the coordinated operation of NPK blending machins and NPK blending fertilizer produciton lines. Its core is the scientific proportioning and uniform mixing of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium raw materials to meet the nutrient requirements of crops.

Nitrogen sources often include urea (46% nitrogen content) and ammonium nitrate (33%~34%). Phosphorus sources commonly include superphosphate (12%~20%) and monoammonium phosphate (44%~52%). Potassium sources include potassium chloride (50%~60%) and potassium sulfate (48%~52%). After screening, these raw materials are conveyed by the NPK blended fertilizer production line's conveyor system to the pretreatment stage to remove impurities, break up clumps, and ensure uniform particle size.

Subsequently, the raw materials enter the NPK blending machine according to the formula ratio—the core mixing equipment uses spiral stirring or drum rotation to fully blend the different nutrients. The intelligent control system of the production line monitors the mixing degree in real time to avoid local nutrient imbalances. If the raw materials have special properties (such as urea and superphosphate being prone to caking), the process will be optimized by adding anti-caking agents and adjusting the stirring speed to ensure the blending effect.

After mixing, the mixture is screened, metered, and packaged to become qualified NPK blended fertilizer. The entire NPK blended fertilizer production line automates the process from raw material processing to finished product output, ensuring precise nutrient ratios and improving production efficiency. This provides efficient and balanced nutrient supply for agricultural production, contributing to high-quality and high-yield crops.
